and its only 9 bucks… yay?!<\/p>\n<\/div> Halloween Costume Ideas!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some of my favorites I’ve seen all over the internet (popular but still fun):<\/p>\n\n\n\n The options on MY table : P<\/p>\n\n\n\n This October has started very well and as of this current moment mellowed down. I went to the carnival and a pumpkin patch. Those two were so much fun even though I ended up spending way too much money on a wristband that is still currently wrapping my wrist and not having time to get on enough rides to make it worth having spent so much on. But even then I still want to go back. It only comes around once a year, and those rides… I should not be trusting with my life, but the thrill that I might die may just be half the fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n My take on Substack:<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have wandered on to the corner of the internet that one would assume I had already stumbled upon. Substack. And as much as I thought I would love it. I genuinely don’t. I have surfed and scrolled across countless articles attempting to find something that peaked my interest but failed. It is currently how I feel about Tiktok and Youtube. Both, platforms I frequent have made consuming content feel exhausting. And although Stubstack is a much slower paced controlled media space that doesn’t bombard you with ads I still feel exhausted after taking a look at what it has to offer. I began my blog at age 11, with hopes of creating an outlet and space that I could pour my every feeling into. And that is truly what I strive, I make content that is very surface level at times. Moodboards, and product recommendations. It is all, in the end, meaningless. But it is what I enjoy doing, I am not an influencer, or an novel author (although I took a hack at that too). And it is not me. With all of this knowledge I’m thinking. “Then why don’t I like Substack?” “Why is it burning me out more scrolling through the feed and reading articles that are tailored to my interests?”… Well because to me. Substack eerily resembles Twitter. And as nostalgic, reminiscent, and mildly comforting as Twitter used to be. It is no longer that. I wish it had more of the setup of Reddit where all articles were curated under a long thread. A thread in which you could follow and subscribe to like every other platform in the world but also that is curated by hashtags like Tumblr. I think that although I hate the infiltration of big companies trying to make their app have every feature that the others offer. It would make the experience of finding articles to enjoy, just that more enjoyable. Substack seems like a wonderful place for community, and easily accessible for those that do not wish to code and build a website. But if we could bring back the beauty of website building like MySpace, the hashtag driven algorithm of Tumblr, and the community thread based layout of Reddit. We could reach a more “magazine” and “newspaper” feel. Honestly just go back to a simpler and more personalized time of the internet. Where sharing life on instagram isn’t cringe and being “mysterious” isn’t every persons goal. The children. They yearn for community, nostalgia and physical media. The kind of media that an algorithm isn’t constantly shoving down our throats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I thought this image was very funny so I wanted to share it with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n THIS is my 2025 October PLAYLIST (music thats been on repeat lately \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n It’s a bit long, but they all stand out to me for different reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Speaking of music this month I attended a Hozier concert. One I have been waiting for, for I a whole year atp. I mean it feels that long. I truly don’t know. It was hands down the best concert I have ever been to and I got to attend with my best friend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Every single song on Hoziers setlist slapped and he has a segment at everyone of his shows where he just preaches facts. Hearing him in the ROOM was surreal. Never miss a Hozier concert. If you have the chance, go. It is a religious experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Anyhow my loves thank you for joining me.
